Wednesday 5th: Today we will continue to work on the final corrections.
Tuesday 4th: Today we will finish Flyboys. After that I will explain more about your finals and we will begin corrections on them.
Your final corrections will be worth 15 test points. To earn all the test points available, you need to do the following:
Multiple Choice Part:
You must correct each question you got incorrect by saying which answer you believed was correct and WHY, the real correct answer, HOW you figured out what the real answer was.
Example: For question 1 I thought the correct answer was D. a, b, and c because I thought economic opportunity, religious persecution, and political instability were all push factors. But I know the correct answer is E b and C only because I realized economic opportunity is a PULL factor, not a push factor.
DBQ Essay Part:
If you earned 45 points or above you DO NOT need to rewrite your essay, but just write me a paragraph explaining the mistakes you made and how you would correct them. Your rubric and my comments should guide you with this.
If you earned 44 points or below, you MUST REWRITE your entire essay with all corrections. I need to see that you know how to write a complete essay and incorporate documents into your arguments. I will help you with this if you need it.
